Time and Situations are never good or bad…

When what’s happening around us impacts us in a manner that is convenient to us, we tag that as a good situation…. And when it is contrary to our expectation, we think of it as a bad situation.

Have you had situations where things that seemed contrary to your expectations, later came to your realization as the best things that could have happened to you?

You will hear life experiences of people where what seemed to be the worse rejection or inconvenience, later proved to give way to far greater opportunities that would otherwise have been ceased off those people!

We are too limited in our intellect, patience level, ability to comprehend the expanse of time and to compute the vast number of variables playing into our lives, to be able to understand the mechanics and the resultant events in the cycle of cause and effect. We are myopic and  jump to conclusions too quickly. That combined with our assumed self-prominence, feeling of entitlement and self-sympathy, causes us to view the time period we are going through and the consequent situations as good or bad.

As if our inability to recognize our intellectual inferiority were insufficient, we hurry into taking remedial actions that may not always conform to the tenets of the prescribed code of ethic and universal justice!

What’s required is the recognition of our limits and acceptance of what’s happening as an event in a larger scheme that has our ultimate benefit as the end-game. What’s required is an unabated desire to improve and to stick to what’s right, regardless the situations that we brand, any which way we do….
