Let’s polarize India
Before jumping to conclusions about my title, read through to understand why I say that “Polarizing India is critically important”.
I have lately spoken to several young men and women from India about our Prime Minister, Sri. Narendra Modi. I was surprised at their deliberate negative attitude towards him.
And as I encouraged them to help me understand their positions, I heard three reasons:
1. He is a Hindu fanatic; Exhibit: The 2002 Godra incident
2. He wants to take India backwards; Exhibit: Modi’s encouragement to bring back Indian Glory the way it existed pre-foreign rule
3. He was thoughtless with demonetization
The thing is, these people are decided! They are against Modi!
I have come to the conclusion that it is useless to speak logic to those that do not want to hear. They do not understand logic and will not support Modi. To them, their individual interests supersede National wellness.
Interestingly, the one thing common to all these people is their religious view-point.
Most of these young Indians are Christians or Muslims! They contend that Modi’s policies for the entire nation, necessarily compromise their Religion specific or caste specific provisions. More importantly, they hate Hinduism and relate Modi to Hinduism. They do not want to see or hear beyond that!
It is not about religion. It is not about caste or any specific people. It is about India.
I would love to see a highly polarized India in this backdrop.
Modi is THE ONLY Leader that can make India Great again!
Why don’t we all stand strong against such sectarian, non-Indian thoughts and ideologies and support our Great Modi.
There is a definite negative polarity thanks to them. How about we stand to be that strong(er) positive force.
