Focus on your goals…
There are those that have their eyes set on becoming better than someone else…
And then there are those that have their eyes set on proving to others how they are good and deserve more respect…
Some have it set on destroying the other…
And some that focus on getting it done within a set time.
Not withstanding the goal itself, the object of focus for all these four types of people becomes not the goal; rather, that someone else, what they are doing or saying or thinking, the time within which it must be done, etc.
When your vision has to look past the dust of the distracting object, how far can you even see your goal? And what about the imminent possibility of that distracting object assuming the mistaken identity of your goal?
Focus on your goal… Only on your goal! Everyone else, everything else, is a distractor!
