The POP [Pretentious Opportunistic Person] Culture
“He was a friend of me, the CEO, not mine”…
“She did that because that was the most convenient thing for her to do, notwithstanding what was right”…
“He divulged company’s secrets in return for some personal favors; did not think of how it destroyed years of hard work”…
“He was a bystander until he saw that things were moving well, and then fought for his rights”…
Such people are the plague of the society… they are everywhere and the greatest irony is that some of them do not even realize that they are from the “POP” culture! Funny enough, even a POP may be affected by another POP!!!
The world has seen so much damage thanks to POPs…. emotional, psychological, financial, time, reputation… and there is not a chapter in legal texts that can penalize such criminals and who has seen what becomes of them in the afterlife…
I have yet to figure a way to stay clean off POPs; but for sure know that I want no berth in the “POP” culture for the sheer disgust, contempt and disrespect I have for the likes of them!!!
Get off that clan, lest you may struggle through the rest of your life in restoring your lost character!!!
