History conveys two things
History conveys two things
1. Who did what, when and why. It is a record of what could have happened.
2. How to be and how not to be
The first item is either an inferential guess or someone’s documentation. Either case, historical accuracy cannot be established with verifiable certainty. It conveys fictitious facts; stories that may be debated and disagreed upon.
The second item represents ideals that everyone stands to gain from. It provides insights into what works and what does not. It represents human experiences; knowledge that may be brought into ones own life’s situations.
