Futuristic or premature?

If Elon Musk would have had to take opposition from his investors or his team for his SpaceX program as a premature idea that is too far out into the future, he could not have made it a phenomenon like he did, in such short a time frame. What would his investors be thinking? What kind of a team would he have picked? What kind of people are they that have dared to realize his futuristic, premature idea!

Everything great that human beings have made happen thus far, was once futuristic. It must have been viewed as premature. It must have met with skepticism. It must have been hard to gather support. It must have been hard to accomplish.

But people believed in their futuristic ideas so much, that getting started on them, did not seem premature.

It is premature only until you get started. No futuristic idea is premature. That is how future is forged!
