What is your under-current?
You laugh, feel low, are angry, are excited, feel compassionate, etc… So does every person! But what is the core emotion that’s driving your life?
You might laugh or shed a tear…. Not withstanding your reactions to incidents, do you recognize who you are at a sub-conscious level?
When you have something good happen to you, if the first resultant feeling is one of gratitude, excitement and confidence, you are more than likely a confident happy person at your core that believes that he will be successful. If however, the same news causes you to feel scared and you start asking yourself, “what if all of this is lost!”, “do I even deserve this?”, etc, your sub-conscious feeling is one of pessimism, low self-esteem and fear. You believe that you do not deserve what you just got.
While nobody wants to think of himself or herself as the second type of person, there is an overwhelming majority of people that have been conditioned to think of themselves as deserving less… This should not be confused with what everyone ‘says’ he or she wants. In fact, they may consciously always be desiring great things!
I am talking about the sub-conscious you… not the conscious you!
Ultimately, you get who you are at your core.
It is extremely important that you recognize this inner belief system that you have grown up with.
You could be crying on the outside, but internally, you may be a joyous person. Your confidence may be shaken for a period, but inside, you may be supremely confident. You may truly appreciate the success that your neighbor has had, but in your mind, you may be suffering the jealous feeling of success eluding you!
Ultimately, it is your inner core that determines the course and the outcome of your life.
If your sub-conscious self is driven by positive emotions like joy, gratitude, confidence, self-esteem, kindness, compassion, etc, you are in the right path. If however, the under current is based on fear, lack of confidence, lust and desire, jealousy, anger, etc, you must change your inner core for your own good.
It is only you that truly knows yourself. Look within. What is your sub-conscious belief and philosophy? Do you think it is in tune with who you really want to be?
Get your conscious and sub-conscious beings in sync. You will find peace and attain success!
