The next step to your ultimate goal

The two things that you must be clear about…. What ever you do, there are two things that you must be clear about:

1. Your ultimate goal

2. Your next step

Realistically, these are the only two that you are likely to know. If you are trying to accurately plot every step and every detail between where you stand and where you are planning to go, you will probably spend a lot of time only to later discover that it was time spent in vain. Any goal that is of major consequence has enough complexity and magnitude to it, to be revealed to you too easily.

Experience will give you better view into what can be expected, but by the time you have gotten yourself to where you can plot every detail and step at a level of certainty and accuracy, you have more than likely outgrown that venture and there is no more challenge and excitement it it!

Be 100% clear about what it is that you want to accomplish. This is where you are going with your venture… your project… your life! You better be sure. Your direction, your decisions, your resource selection, your analysis, your budgeting…. everything is necessarily goal oriented! You cannot be wrong about this if you want to be happy, want to accomplish it and do it successfully!

Secondly, Be sure of the next step from where you are. Be confident in your ability to carry it out successfully! And most importantly, have the persistence to carry that step through to completion. If you successfully execute that step, the ensuing next step will reveal itself to you along the way!

And at every point, analyze to see if you are on track. It is ok to realize that you may be in the wrong direction.

All it takes is, retracing your steps!
