Time is non-refundable
A few years back, I worked with a man that would every now and then get up from his chair in meetings, walk up to the one that added little value but took up a lot of everyone’s time and ask that person how much money he had in his pocket. I remember a certain occasion where he actually took the money and walked away midway through the meeting.
His justification, “He can always earn his money back, but he can never refund my time”.
Time is the only non-refundable dimension of life. You can never get it back! Yet we waste so much of it!
It is always easy to blame those that do it to you. If however, you sit down honestly, to think of how you do it to yourself, you might actually be pissed off with yourself!
