The Human Platform: The link between Strategy and Execution…
Here’s one topic I could probably write a book on that I again attempt to keep to under a minute’s reading…
Two things about the individuals who make up this platform:
1. When I say the Human Platform within the context of an organization, every person in that organization automatically enlists himself or herself as a part of the platform. It is important to understand that it is just those individuals who actually help link Strategy to Operations… Not every person!
2. These are people that can effectively handle their tasks of today and of tomorrow; more importantly, understand when that tomorrow starts!
Therein lies the problem!!! A hard working individual that is talented, and committed may still be the wrong choice for a key role. The choice then should never be based on entitlement as much as it should be on the right fit…
It’s up to you to become the obvious choice to be a key link in the human platform.
