The (un)Fairness of Life’s Lessons…
Breathes there a man who has not had a struggle in his life???
And we are seasoned to (believe) know that all these are to be taken as lessons that make us better people/ professionals/ better equipped for the future… what have you!!!
Nature is giving us lessons for sure…
But the challenge is that these lessons do not come with titles like: “tomorrow’s lesson is, how not to trust your most trusted friend blindly…”
And as if that were not difficult enough, typically the exams for such lessons have already been conducted by the time you get to the lesson!!*??
Seems unfair!!!
How is it that in a perfectly just universe, we are repeatedly put through such trials where even after the lesson, we do not know what we are being trained on really???
Well… here’s my take on it…
Nature has designed ‘Assessment Based Learning’ as its curriculum for our lives where we are put through trials, the precise areas of improvement identified, the skills that we are lacking in listed and those specific topics covered in detail…
And the Universal Law guarantees that every student most definitely learns no matter how many times the same lesson has to be taught…
So once you are taught a lesson the first time, you are put through an assessment again! You fare well… and you get to move to the next trial!
You commit the same mistake… and you need the lesson one more time…. and nature is relentless in its persistence to train you to perfection!
So the bottom line…. You are being given a lesson ONLY because you need it! And the good news, you WILL get the same lesson until you have learnt it….
Can it get any fairer???
