Not every thought that crosses your mind is necessarily deliberate. You can only try controlling and channelizing your thoughts.
Not every word you utter is necessarily deliberate. It is easier to control your words, than it is your thoughts. Yet, you may say things that may be received differently by different people in different situations. They are very context sensitive.
You can best control your deeds. Your deeds also potentially create the most impact. They can be planned in a manner where each next deed adds on to the previous deed.
How about focusing on keeping them pure? How about letting them speak of our being in a manner where others think of us fondly?
