You engage in a discussion with your associate and after an hour and a half realize that he may actually not even be able to paraphrase what you are contending about…

This happens more often than not and speaks volumes of how we are all wired!!!

We do not listen with an intent to understand… we listen with an intent to speak… We are either speaking or are preparing to speak…

Most arguments stem not from disagreements or differences in ideologies… rather, from misunderstandings or ego….

I am pissed-off because he said something that was not in line with my expectations… he is therefore wrong, needless to say, I know a lot more than he does! Obviously, he reserves the right to remain silent…. And I should tell him how he is inconsiderate, illogical and difficult to communicate with…
