The past cannot be cured… It can only be ignored….

Human memory is not short… there is no such thing as forgetting hurt that you sustained. How long a certain incident and the residual emotion haunts you changes from person to person and from incident to incident…. but that the person whom you hurt will never forget it will remain a fact of his life just as the hurt that you suffered will stay is a fact of yours….

We move on…. either because we choose to or because we cannot do anything about it….

Human life by design causes almost every person to feel and cause hurt at some level…. And in that backdrop, that you might have caused at least as much hurt as you suffered is plausible….

(Almost) Everyone is capable of moving on…. Where you can help is by making a genuine attempt to tangibly demonstrate to the ones you hurt that you care for them enough to where not only will you never repeat it, you will go the extra mile to make that person feel good and secure and able to take comfort in you one more time.

Words will never do… your actions will… and your actions will come out as being genuine only if your thoughts…. your heart and your mind…. are all aligned to doing it….

Consider this… Wouldn’t it be nice if the same were to be done for you by those that hurt you? Then why hold back when it’s your turn to do the right thing???
