Negotiating Power
The best posture to be negotiating is from a position of being able to walk away from the deal.
If you don’t need it, the one you are dealing with has no leverage over you. You, in essence, control the deal, for you can walk away and you lose nothing!
How about cultivating that level of detachment towards what you are seeking, to where, you see yourself dealing from that posture, regardless the importance of the deal?
Is it not a great situation to place yourself, that you get what you want, for you need nothing!
