Focus on Title Vs the Outcome
When your focus becomes what you are called over what you are called to do, you are lending way to the one whose focus is the outcome, to be your “chief”. You have embalmed yourself with a lower title.
Stop blaming someone else. It was your call!
On the other hand, when your focus becomes the mission you are assuming the responsibility for, you lead yourself into that seat of leadership.
Irony: It’s when titles do not matter that you are entitled.
