You could be lazy!
It’s not that the guy that is consistently achieving more is bestowed with capabilities, opportunities or endowments that others have somehow been deprived of… it’s that he chooses to give his very best every time!
Most people suffer not from limitation in intellectual capabilities, rather from a flavor of laziness!
The reasons for falling short might vary:
- lack of planning because you were lazy to put a written plan upfront of all the milestones, the major tasks, the minor tasks, the dependencies, the ownerships and the timelines
- lack of organizing and coordinating because you were lazy to communicate the sequence of events in the manner best understood by each member
- lack of energy because you were too lazy to get yourself to keep fit, exercise, eat healthy
- lack of awareness and knowledge because you were lazy to learn and to keep up with what’s out there
- the end result of your effort had too many errors because you were too lazy to go back and verify your own work….
If you are achieving a lot, you know what it takes… if you are not, you know somewhere in there that it is your laziness.
Get a hold of this one beast, lest it gets a hold of you!
