Verbalization intensifies emotions…
The inertia of being able to deliver in words, a silent emotion for the very first time is always high…. Say it once… and you will find it easier and easier each next time to say it….
At one point, it becomes so easy… so much a part of you… that whether or not the emotion continues to stay directed to and focused on that person or incident… it will more than likely somewhere get printed onto your character… it gets rubbed onto you…. and you become an embodiment of that emotion…. And if you are the listener, you probably retain at least a part share in it…
Be very discreet in your selection of the emotions you want to verbalize and take manyfold the care in selecting the person that you want to share it with….
Remember! You are too precious to let unintended emotions lead you on to unintended paths…. especially if they stem from your very words!!!
