Rediscovering yourself….
The longer you live, the more do you face life… And the reality of life does take its toll!
Most cases, the biggest casualty is you… your inner spirit… your confidence… your happiness… the drive to undertake big ventures… the optimism of what it could all be… or may be just the innocent ability to laugh out heartily….
And you want to think then that you cannot pull it any longer… it is so hard!!! If only someone extends his helping hand! Or may be God or the Universe, which sure holds the power to turn things around, waves His magical hand to make it all right again!!!
Let me tell you something…. This is a sickness! The sooner you realize that you are subjecting yourself to your own weakness, the better… for the ONLY thing that has changed or not worked is YOU… not the things around you nor the situations, as much as you would love to take refuge in that thought!
Step back and think of that time when things looked up for you… There sure was a time when you smiled, you were able to laugh… when you were confident, when you were sure of how to get it done, when you had the energy, the excitement and the drive….
You have had a few set backs…. No one should take away the pain that you suffered… But by the same token, none can take away the pain that you are suffering now either…. Not some friend… not some relative… not some angel… not God Himself!
The ONLY person that can take your pain away from you is YOU… the only person that can make things go your way again now, is, you!!!
And the way to doing it is by rediscovering yourself! Your set backs (or the so-called failures) may have caused you to forget what you once knew you were capable of… what you were sure of at one point….
Things did not go like you had once planned… and may be it happened a few times… but if that has caused you to forget who you really are, you are choosing to forget the wrong thing! Forget the disappointment of the setback instead!
It is time to rediscover yourself…. The toll that you have caused for yourself is losing the memory of who you are…. Meditate… Turn your attention inward… Remember who you truly are… Everything that you once did you can only do better today.
Remember who you were…. You are still the same person inside of you today… only more experienced… more knowledgeable…. You are better equipped today, than you ever were….
Remember yourself! Rediscover yourself!!!
