The top 10% of the most influential people in the world are ‘Givers’.
The top 10% of the least influential people are also ‘Givers’.
The intention of every giver is probably always noble and altruistic; yet, the difference!
You may not actively seek Glory from your benevolence nor to wield the Influence gained. It doesn’t hurt, nevertheless, to be recognized and respected, so you are able to do just that little bit more.
It’s in the selection of who, why, how, how much, when and for what you are giving. Ancient Wisdom cautions you to give only to deserving people that recognize the value of what they are being given. It calls for a certain level of maturity on the part of the one you are giving to, for him to reciprocate.
Give it to those that don’t have such an attitude or true need, and you are giving in vain.
Why give unless the one getting it is truly deserving?
It is up to you to recognize who to give and who not to!
