Organizational Velocity
Imagine a chariot with seven horses, all running in the same direction, but at varying speeds.
Aligning your team to work in one direction, each functioning in his place, at his complete potential, and in coordination with the others is hard work.
Setting the expected throughput, ensuring that it is realistic and pacing each member to attain that velocity can be harder.
Don’t just leave it up to your leader to set the pace. The charioteer only spurs his horses to run. It is the horses, that adjust their pace relative to the others, to achieve a steady ride
