Off and on will not do…

In fact, you will end up frustrated if you are not consistent!

It is better to stay a low performer than to perform extremely well on occasion and under perform on another! And I am not talking about consistency as in the result one gets… I am talking about effort… about applying oneself!!!

The best are those that perform consistently well… they work hard, they apply themselves to the task at hand completely… they are dependable!!! If they fail, it more than likely may not be their fault…

And then there are those that can only do so much… most people tend to accept them at that level! Though not desirable a state, you at least know what and how much you can expect from such people…

But the ones that do very well once and just about barely show up the next time…. Who knows what they do the third time!!! These are the most frustrating to deal with. It’s not that they do not know what to do or how to do it…. Most of the times, they can actually do well, provided they decide to do it that time….

If you are in the third category, you will not get too far… You will more than likely remember those times when you out did yourself… but those are historic events that only you sing paeans of… And those are events none care to remember except may be yourself… And unless you are self-deceiving, you know that you are not dependable and that you have no right to complain or demand!

Off and on will not do!!! You are not serving anybody well including yourself given your inconsistency! If you have it and do not give every time… you have in essence signed up to a compromised life…

Do not expect anything different from the outside that you cannot offer from within!!!
