Do not shy away from playing your role
An executioner in a prison carrying out orders of capital punishment is not a murderer. No one blames him for doing his job; in fact, our respect goes out to him for the strength in his heart to be doing what would be nerve wreaking to most of us.
The ones that have made a difference in the world did so because they did what they knew was right and did it well. They did it despite all opposition, all criticism, all skepticism, all dissuasion. They did it knowing well that there would be those that would criticize them!
It’s not that they don’t care about what someone else might say… It’s just that they care more, for doing the right thing.
Doing the right thing often calls for more courage and positively defiant an attitude, than one might care to accept.
If you know what is right, if you know how to do it better…. just do it! Shy not away, from playing your role…
And if you aren’t playing your role for there is someone else holding a preventive title, you are holding yourself back for the wrong reason. The with that title not doing it, is all the more a reason that you pick up that unlit torch. It’s flame was long overdue!
