You are (not) only as good as your most recent failure….
This is typical of an environment which exists in an interdependent reality and perceptive judgement….
Have you been preview to such an atmosphere? If you have, I am sure you have seen the sheer dissipation of productive energy to give way to negativity created from people trying to solve problems or making decisions based on misinterpretations and inaccurate assessments….
Such an organization becomes the market place for spending valuable time and gross loss of productivity to people having to confess to other people’s sins, politicking, rivalry, interpersonal conflict, protecting one’s rear, masterminding and second guessing.
This is much opposed to an environment where there is team work and trust… an understanding of what things really take and a constructive effort to get past issues that are but natural, when they do crop up… and the clarity of view of what has worked and what has not….
When you are viewed as being only as good as your most recent failure, it feels like trying to drive down the highway with one foot on the gas and the other foot on the brake!
Do not sweat… for the vehicle that is struggling there is not yours!!!
Get off such a vehicle for the only place where any progress is even conceivable is where you are recognized for being as good as you are…. where you don’t wake up each morning trying to prove yourself all over again!!!
