Negativity is a choice…
Let’s face it… Things go wrong! Bad stuff happens!
As much as we can ponder over why things went wrong and how difficult a phase that was… how long we dedicate to reminiscing that episode is completely our choice!
We are only human and to undergo some pain is but obvious… An initial negative reaction is very natural… And if that reaction is contained within a small time capsule, it could actually be healthy!
It teaches you how not to do things or how to prevent such things from happening in future… it matures you… makes you stronger…
If then you choose to move on taking just the learnings, you have chosen wisely!
Should you however chose to actively continue basking in unhappiness… entertaining those difficult memories… imagining unfairness in your future… engaging others in discussions about the unfairness that you were subject to… you are pursuing negativism….
To quote the Sadguru, “Human beings suffer their own memory and imagination, which means they suffer that which does not exist”….
Recognize such suffering… have the maturity to benefit from the learnings… have the strength to move on… choose to stay positive!!!
