Lose to gain leadership!
As a leader you lose the right to take decisions in your interest….
And that is probably one of the toughest things for most ‘want to be’ leaders to learn and bring into their natural state of being!
No decision can be taken for any individual or any section within your sphere of influence… Everyone knows this theory!
Decisions must necessarily be for the whole and should an entity be compromised, you have the responsibility of bringing them into the fold or should it call for it, be prepared for amputation.
The challenge then is to see oneself as well as the ones very closely associated with you in the same light! And few leaders are able to even come close to this desirable state.
What’s worse is when leaders understand that this is necessary, but shamelessly exempt themselves from this rule and blatantly try concealing it with some other flimsy guise….
Come on! There is none that stupid….
The only pathway to being accepted as a leader over the long haul is to be genuine… to be the person that you know that you must be, from the very core…. And when you have developed the maturity to overhaul yourself to truly become such a person, that you can claim your right to be called a leader….
The irony is, it is only when you can dare to lose all those taunting traits, that you gain that eluding position of respect… leading you into commanding your place, as The Leader.
