How to be successful?
I have often had youngsters ask this question. Here’s the answer:
Wake up at 4:00 AM, have a hot shower, mediate for atleast 15 minutes, workout for an hour, read something that relates to your line of work for atleast about 30 minutes, have a good breakfast, do your work for at least 10 to 12 hours, do not forget to have a good lunch, spend your evenings doing something fun, go to bed early so you can get 6-7 hours of sleep.
Have a set goal, have a strategy and plan with long term goals and near term milestones, stay focused, do not get deterred should things not go like you had expected; keep doing what you have defined as your goal.
You always need people: ‘Socialize’ means meaningful interaction for mutual development; communicate, collaborate, work for the success of those around you.
Be honest, be humble, be respectful, be confident, be passionate, but be open to criticism and to make adjustments.
It’s not about what you choose for your goal, rather your approach, your discipline and your unflinching determination to keep doing it over the long haul.
You will be successful! And when you are successful, move on to your next goal… repeat!
