Good to be around a demanding person
Face it… You would much rather get the work assigned to you by that unreasonable bully, that will not think twice before branding you incompetent, than that assigned to you, by that patient loving person, who will go out of his way to cover for your lapses.
I once worked for a man that was tough… Corporate reorganizations put another man who treated me like I were his son for a period, before he was later succeeded by that original boss of mine that had no problem reminding me that he was my boss.
I still hate him till date, but in retrospect, I grew thrice the more, two times the faster, in my capabilities, under that thug, than I did working for the other boss that I totally love and respect.
You may hate that demanding guy, but it is with him that you will more than likely feel challenged… and it is only when challenged that you will grow!
Growth is a byproduct of a need to survive… That’s nature’s design! And if you are not impelled to create such a need for yourself, being compelled to find yourself in such an environment may not be that bad for you after all!
It is good to be around demanding people. Do not shy away from placing yourself in such places… You will grow!
