Feeling pushed around
Humans seek an expansive life… We always need more space than is available. The result is, someone else might feel your push… just like you feel somebody else’s!
It’s not fun to feel pushed around. The inevitable corollary to be pushed around is, you lose control over what you are trying to do and your effectiveness drops!
It’s not just you that wants you to stay in control… Everybody does! Trouble starts when you start giving up control; It is then that you start to get pushed around.
The irony of this whole dynamic is, you tend to gain very little by pushing those around you; after all, their output does have an impact over you and you more than likely benefit from their expansion. It is our innate insecurity and impatience that troubles us thereby prompting us to push those around us!
Stop pushing around! Hold on to your own that you may not be pushed around! Stay in control… let those around you control their own… That is effective co-existence, as also, another definition to leading by example!
