Tolerance is a time-bomb… Waiting to explode!!!
Being “Tolerant” means enduring something or someone that is inherently not acceptable to you… It is putting up patiently…
The problem is, you can endure something without an adverse reaction only for so long… To me, the word tolerance signifies an ego… a latent intolerance that has to be overcome and it is not a positive trait as much as the world has come to use “tolerance” as a virtue…
Lasting unity can never be achieved through tolerance or endurance or by putting up!
“Accept” instead… accept the other… welcome a differing thought or an opinion or a belief system… Embrace it with open arms… with an open heart… an open mind…
Uniformity is not unity…. Sameness is not oneness….
True unity is in becoming amenable to other paradigms. True unity is in assimilation of concepts, cultures, view points….
Don’t tolerate others…. Accept them!!! That is true love…
Only through universal acceptance can diversity bring forth unity!
