Don’t confuse your hopes with judgement

There are things that you have known all along and you want to believe that they will eventually come through…

It has happened with most of us at some level or the other….

A person that you knew all along can never do it, but you had epitomized him in your mind and then marketed him to a point where he is indispensable… You invested in him, supported him, nurtured him… Next thing you know that person leaves… And your work doesn’t skip a beat!

You knew all along that that property was never worth the price and you could never make money on it… But you wanted it… Wanted it so bad that you found every reason to justify buying it…. 10 years later, you realize that you knew all along you should not have done it!

You should not have invested in that project… But you did anyway… 2 years and a million dollars later, it has not worked and someone else is offering a low cost, out of the box alternative….. you knew all along but you had to do this little pet project!

Be clear on why you are doing something…. Don’t confuse your hopes with judgement… You may end up being burnt and it is your own doing!!!
