3 things that Practicality is often misconstrued for
Practicality is essential for success.
- Practicality is not pessimism…. A practical man is realistic! When there is an inevitable issue, recognizing it and taking precautionary measures does not amount to pessimism… it is realism!
- Practicality is not insensitivity…. A practical man looks for sense in what is being said and in the situations that he finds himself or his group in. When there is nothing tangible being discussed and the resultant outcome seems less than acceptable, he takes a stance! This is not insensitivity… it is being logical and bringing reason to otherwise unstructured situations!
- Practicality is not lack of romance…. It is good to be romantic! But it cannot be at the cost of feasibility and substantial loss of the view of what it actually is! This does not mean being non-romantic! It means, that your heart and head are in union!
Be practical… Be successful… Be human!
